HOW TO HOST A MOVIE NIGHT

  |     |   Uncategorized

There’s nothing quite like hosting a movie night right in the comfort of your own home. You get to invite the friends and loved ones you want to spend time with. And, you can relax with a good meal, have a few laughs, and really unwind. It does not have to be a big deal at all – or it can be if you want it to be. At Greenwood Plaza, we encourage you to enjoy life in our apartments in Centennial in any way right for your needs.

TIPS FOR A SUCCESSFUL MOVIE NIGHT
Before movie night rolls around, take a few minutes to gather a few ideas. Of course, you will need to pick a movie or two to watch (it is best to have a backup on hand). You’ll want to invite your favorite people along. Then, consider these tips.

Get the room ready. Arrange furniture so that everyone has a great seat. Pick up a few large pillows to add to the floor for extra seating. Your guests may want a few extra seating options so they can get comfortable.
Get some food ready. Keep it to finger foods. Popcorn – perhaps with a gourmet twist of added chocolate or toppings – is a must. You can also choose other foods, such as candies. Be sure to offer a variety of drinks your guests will appreciate.
Make the room comfortable. Add a few blankets to the space to ensure people can get comfy. You may also want to dim your lighting enough to ensure that there’s no obstruction on the television.
Encourage guests to bring something. It doesn’t have to be much, perhaps a small dessert to share. This helps everyone feel involved.
Have some time to just talk. You’ll want to do this before the movie begins. This gives the group some time to get their work day out of their mind before the movie starts.
